| “基层社会秩序如何可能”一直是中国研究的议题之一，《被困的治理》某种程度延承和回应了这一蕴味十足的议题。在对基层研究“村落、县域以及乡镇研究单位”的审慎性反思后，它从容地选择既兼顾乡村生活复杂性又兼顾科层组织制度分析长处的乡镇作为田野研究起点。在深描河镇近30年的历时性事件变迁时，《被困的治理》也试图与传统基层治理研究中的主体范式和规则范式对话，并结合当前多元化治理主体、双重性治理规则以及治理媒介资源的基层结构化情境变迁，构建“复合治理”概念借以弥补传统基层治理研究范式的遗憾。虽然复合治理为我们提供了理解基层社会变化的新视角，但基层社会本身在复合治理的“双重、多元、灵活”的标准下又陷入治理的困境。总的来说，《被困的治理》在提供启发性引导时，又给我们遗留下了“治理走向何处”的未结议题。 |

| It is a topic of Chinese Studies that how the grassroots order could be. To some extent Governance under Siege extends and responds to this theme. Reflection on the research unit of village, county and township, it chooses township as the starting point of field research, which can consider the complexity of rural life and bureaucratic system. In the description of the past 30 years of HeZhen’s diachronic events, Governance under Siege also tries to dialogue with subject paradigm and rule paradigm. Combining with the diversified governance subject, dual governance rules and governance resources, Governance under Siege constructs a concept of dual-formal governance to make up for the regret of traditional governance paradigm. Although a new perspective for the grassroots changes, it is still in the dilemma of governance under the dual, pluralistic and flexible standards. In general, Governance under Siege not only gives us an inspiring guidance, but also remains an issue that where the governance is to go. |
