| The 10?17 Forum is about sharing experience of poverty reduction and promoting communal development, which has a broad international horizon and multiple realistic values. It also provides a communicative platform for developing countries and International organizations to negotiate anti-poverty policies. On all the previous conference, Chinese experience has always been a focal point attracting considerable attention. The accomplishment of China poverty reduction has been widely appreciated by the international community, for it is basing on consistent economic growth and following the specific government-oriented poverty alleviation program. However, there are still huge problems to solve in the process of Chinese poverty alleviation, such as protecting environment, promoting equality, supporting the weaker, and dealing with the multi-dimensional nature of poverty. These problems are also huge challenges for building Moderately Prosperous Society in an All-round Way in 2020. |
