| 近代以来,在西方的冲击下中国陷入了经济、政治、社会、文化等全面解组和严重失调的总体性危机。深受功能主义方法论和费边主义理论影响的费孝通提出了乡土重建的现代性方案。该方案沿循社会有机论的思想路径,主张在秉持总体性、嵌入性和主体性等原则的前提下,从重建乡土工业出发进行渐进式改革并以此推动中国现代性和新型文明秩序的构建。在“救亡压倒一切”的历史情境中,费孝通的现代性方案未能实现从理论到实践的成功转换。然而,中国现代化的历史实践却折射出青年费孝通的问题意识和思想诊断始终有着深刻的历史反思性和强烈的现实批判性。乡土重建方案及其立基的问题意识、沿循的思想路径、擘画的理想图景、提出的历史命题仍有待在中国现代化这一“大历史”中予以完整性地重温与再思。 |

| Under the challenge of western, modern China had been in the overall crisis of economy, politics, society, culture and so on. In the face of this crisis, Fei Xiaotong put forward the modernity project of rural reconstruction under the influence of functionalism and Fabianism. Adhering to the principles of totality, embeddability and subjectivity, the project aims at constructing Chinese modernity and new civilization by the reconstruction of nativesoil industry. Xiaotong’s modernity project failed to achieve transformation from theory to practice. However, the historical practice of China‘s modernization shows that Fei Xiaotong’s question consciousness and philosophies are very profound, realistic and critical. In the new context, we should rethink Fei Xiaotong‘s modernity project. |
