| In his remarkable research on Hayek, Deng Zhenglai not only reconstructed the inner logics of Hayek’s social theory, but also revealed his intellectual advancement compared to the political philosophy of liberalism and communitarianism. However, this research may homogenize different conceptions of liberalism and diametrically oppose liberalism to communitarianism. Based on Ralws’s “conception of liberal community” which has not been paid enough attention to by academic world, the misunderstanding of Deng’s study may be clarified and certain limits of Hayek’s conception of society and justice may be revealed. |
