推进“中国社会科学的自主性”堪称邓正来先生的“终身关怀”。他关于“中国社会科学的自主性”的思想，同时强调国内向度的学术规范化和国际向度自主于“西方文化霸权”，并遵循这一思想推进自己关于“中国社会秩序之正当性和可欲性”的学术研究，及作为学术组织者对学术刊物、学术平台、学术机构、学术丛书和学术活动的组织和策划。现时中国社会科学出现的基于“科学化”的学术国际化趋向及“智库化”趋向，彰显了中国社会科学自主性所面临的复杂问题。回应这些问题既要超越邓正来的相关思想，亦是对其历史贡献的学术承认。

英文摘要:

Advancing the autonomy of Chinese social sciences is the lifetime concern of Deng Zhenglai. He maintains the importance should be attached to independence from “the Western cultural hegemony” in standard as to standardization of Chinese social sciences. Accordingly, he makes researches on subject of “the rightness and desirability of Chinese social order” and masterminds a collection of academic journals, platforms, institutions, activities and book series. Currently, two growing trends of internationalization based on “scientification” and “think-tanklization”, which demonstrates complexities of the autonomy of Chinese social sciences, appears in China. In order to respond to the complexities, the overcoming of Deng’s thoughts is getting necessary, which essentially means a kind of academic recognition of his historical contributions.
