社会福利事业作为佛教公益慈善事业发挥作用的重要载体之一,老年人、残疾人等社会福利服务对象历来都是慈善事业帮助的主要对象。佛教慈善组织参与养老服务递送是佛教以信仰为纽带走出寺院进入现实社会,积极参与社会服务的具体形式,是实现人间佛教社会化的重要路径。其优良的社会服务传统、较好的经济来源、强大的志工关系网络、优质的精神慰藉和临终关怀而大大不同于传统的民办养老院,是新时期促进社会化养老服务能力建设的重要力量。

英文摘要:

The social welfare program is one of the key paths that Buddhist charitable organization takes part in philanthropy. The elderly people, disabled people and so on are the main objects both welfare services and philanthropy. The Buddhist temple as the spiritual bond of faith takes part in providing—for—the—aged public service that they would fit into the world. Philanthropy is the critical paths for achieving the social World Buddhism. Their oldage service is other than traditional private nursing,the advantages include a fine traditions of public service, good source of income, a powerful social worker network, a superior spiritual succor and hospice care. It is an important force that we speed the social support and to transit from the family support to social support in a new period
