| “全球重要农业文化遗产( GIAHS) 的动态保护与适应性管理项目”是保护具有全球重要意
义的农业系统项目。目前，已在全球11 个国家评选出具有典型性和代表性的16 个传统农业系统作为
保护试点。这些GIAHS 试点地是传统农业文明的缩影与代表，也是农业文明传承的重要载体。它们具
有悠久的历史、多样的景观、丰富的生物与文化多样性和不同自然地理条件与社会发展条件下的较强适
应性，在全球农业正面临来自气候变化、人口快速增长、生态破坏与环境污染带来的多重威胁的今天，这
些传统的农业生产系统仍然较为健康地持续运作，为人类应对发展中的困境提供了可供参考的范本，从
而成为现代农业发展的重要基础。通过在试点地进行的“多方参与的动态保护与可持续管理”的探索
和努力，一些基本的保护理念和可操作的方法正在实践中逐步清晰。 |

| The project of Dynamic Conservation and Adaptive Management Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System
( GIAHS) is to empower smallholder family farming communities，indigenous peoples and minority and tribal groups to dynamically
conserve their traditional agricultural systems and to create an economic stake in the conservation of ( agricultural)
biodiversity so that nature and people can prosper together． It has set up 16 files in global 11 countries． All GIAHS pilots
are the epitome of agricultural civilizations． They often reflect rich and globally unique agricultural biodiversity，within
and between species and at the ecosystem and landscape level． Having been founded on ancient agricultural societies，certain
of these systems are linked to important centres of origin and diversity of domesticated plant and animal species，the in
situ conservation of which is of great importance and global value． GIAHS represent a continuation of historic traditions and
knowledge that have evolved over the centuries． These cultures，settlements，landscapes and habitats have suffered dramatically
in the wake of industrial and agricultural revolutions and advances in science，technology，commerce and communications
in the nineteenth and twentieth century． The few that still survive as flag bearers of earlier traditions are worth safeguarding
as they are a part of our world cultural and natural heritage． However，thanks to the GIAHS project，the methodology
of dynamic conservation is clearer． |
