| Thethesisexploredthegift-exchangesysteminthreevillagesofNenjiangCounty, HeilongjiangProvinceandexpandedtherelevanttheoriesdiscussions.
Therewerethreeethnicgroups, “ Station-man” , “ Dongbeiness” and“Guanliness”
respectively, madeupthelocalsociety.Theauthorconsideredtheexplorationongift-exchangesystem shouldbe
tracedbackwiththedifferentgroupssothatwecouldfindouttheexchangepatternsofeachgroupcloselyrelatedtotheir
ownhistoryandsocialstructureoverthepastthreecenturies.Moreover, theintegrationofaparticulargroup' sexchange
patternwiththeotherrelevantgroups' couldshowtheirownuniquenessandrelevance.Finally, thegift-exchangemodelof
