| 环境抗争指环境或生态问题引发的维权行为, 是与社会正义问题紧密关联的集体行为。在
我国, 环境抗争的行动者往往是环境污染或生态恶化的受害者。我国学者对环境抗争的分析常常落入
一个实用理性的陷阱, 即将分析焦点局限在索求经济或健康赔偿问题的表层, 对环境抗争中的文化因素
和文化力量不能做出深刻的解析。笔者使用“生态认知革命” 及“ 生态文化自觉” 两个理念, 对我国西北
地区一个村庄的环境抗争之原因、过程、结果予以描述和分析。特别指出, 社会科学研究应充分考虑到
地方性文化在环境抗争中的特殊意义及地方性文化与我国农民生态环境意识的连接。 |

| In this paper , environmental protests refer to collective actions to demand environmental justice .In China , the
participants of such protests are often the victims of environmental pollution o r ecological degr adation.In previous studies
of environmental pro tests , Chinese scholars often fall into the trap of practical rationality by focusing their analysis on requests
for economic and medical compensations from legal perspectives.Analyzed in such a w ay , the function of cultural
forces associated with environmental pro tests in China has been very much neglected .In the discussion that follow s, tw o
key concepts will be presented.These are “ cognitive revolution” and “ cultural aw areness” as applied to environmental issues
in rural China and situa ted w ithin the contex t of a Chinese village' s strug gle for enviro nmental justice .The autho r
points out in particular that Chinese socio logists and anthropolo gists need to depar t from the perspectives of practical rationality
and take local cultures seriously by linking them w ith issues of social mobilization in the process of environmental
protests and with people' s notions about w hy they need environmental justice. |
