城乡差异是人类历史上一直存在的在认同形成方面的文化与社会经济差异。城乡之间清晰的社会经济和文化断层在中国历史上是一种显著的现代现象, 认真研究城乡关系的历史变迁可以发现城乡差异的社会结构特征, 这对理解当今中国社会所具有的文化和政治经济有重要意义。文章写作目的在于通过对中国城乡关系和认同形成方面的相关文献的回顾研究, 促进对改革时代不断变化的权力和意义领域中城乡差异的重新配置及其文化和政治经济含义的学术关怀。

英文摘要:

Distinctio n between the country and the city is one of the oldest cultural and socio-economic differentials for identity formation in human histories.Clear socio-eco nomic and cultural fault-lines betw een the country and the city are a particularly mo dern phenomenon in the histo ry of China .I t' s necessary to carefully investigate the histo rical transformatio n of rural-urban relations so as to capture the characteristics in the social construction of rural-urban distinctions and its cultural and politico-economic sig nificance in understanding the Chinese society today .This paper aims a t prompting intellectual concer ns on the reconfig uration of rural-urban distinctions and its cultural and politico-economic implications in changing fields of power and meaning in post-Mao China , by reviewing ex isting literatures on China' s rural-urban relatio ns and identity formation .
