| This paper pro poses a principal-agent model for profit distribution at the late phase of the cropland-to-affo restatio n conversion
program , and it demonstrates that quota subsidy is the best optio n.I t also clarifies the conditions fo r desig ning the contract as
w ell as the factors towards the optimum result .The autho r makes some public policy sugg estions o n developing ecological compensatio
n, instituting live lot mar ket , and enhancing ecological publicity efforts so as to improve the eco logical efficiency of the cropland
conversion prog ram . |
