| This paper reviews the revival of sociology in China since its reform and opening up.Based on issues encountered in the
process of study and practices, the author maintain that the perspective of low ranks and g roups is a perfect oppor tunity to further expand
the research scope of sociolog y in China and to establish its unique positio n and values. |
