| English w riting has been a headache for many Chinese college students .One of the key reasons is that they are not familiar
w ith the Eng lish thinking pattern .This paper analyzes the phenomeno n of Chinese negative transfer in colleg e English writing from
the levels of vocabulary , sentence and discourse .I t is hoped that the analy sis w ill make students aware of the discrepancies so as to
pattern themselv es o n the English thinking and to compose idiomatic Eng lish w ritings. |
