大学被赋予神圣的人文形象,因为大学以研究高深学问、追求真理为主旨。这一认识所隐含的矛盾是夸大了真理的客观性,而不谈真理的意义问题,实质上是分裂了人与真理的关系。大学人文品质应该转向,应以培养人的自由个性作为大学人文品质的根本,大学教育是全面发展的教育、现实人的教育、面向日常生活世界的教育,转变观念、建立自由的空间、确立教育内容改革的原则、健全法制是弘扬大学人文理想的基本要求。

英文摘要:

Co lleg es a re endowed with sacred huma nistic imag e beca use they are aiming a t r esea rching pro found knowledg e a nd pursuing tr uth. Hidden co ntradiction o f such an under standing is that it mag nifies the o bjective side o f truth while wa lking aw ay fr om the issue of sig nificance o f t ruth, and it actually splits the r elationship betw ee n human being s a nd tr uth. Co lleg e humanistic cha racter sho uld ma ke a turn, basing itself o n nurturing the f reedom cha racter o f human being s. College education is educa tio n fo r all-ro unded dev elopment, educatio n fo r real human being s and education fo r secular w or ld daily liv es. So , changing of educational co ncepts, esta blishing space o f freedom , defining g uidelines fo r educa tio n co ntent r efo rm and instituting legal fr amewo r k a re all basic r equir ements for upholding co llege humanistic ideals.
