| This study defines the fundamental co ncepts of com munity and cla rifies the basic elements of a
community . It a lso int roduces the past a nd pr esent situatio n o f r ural community studies in America. Some
theo retical issues of rural communi ty studies hav e been discussed and v arious bar rie rs of th e dev elo pment of
r ural community hav e a lso been pointed o ut. The implica tio n of r ural community studies has bee n addr essed. |
